Hello! I’m so thrilled you’re here. I’m Natania, an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW 119749) specializing in teens and young adults. My approach is rooted in psychodynamic and attachment-based principles, exploring how past experiences shape current emotions, behaviors, thoughts, and relational patterns. While insight-oriented approaches ground my practice, I also integrate behavioral and somatic modalities to best fit the needs of each individual client.

I am particularly passionate about working with individuals who have experienced trauma or struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, body image concerns, disordered eating, people-pleasing, and an unrelenting inner critic. I also have extensive experience supporting individuals navigating OCD, depression, suicidality, self-injury, gender and identity exploration, interpersonal and relationship difficulties, and challenges with emotional regulation.

The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of my work. I strive to provide a collaborative, compassionate space where you can express yourself openly and without judgment. I’m not a blank slate; I show up authentically, gently, and directly. We will move at your pace, working together to deepen insight, explore your inner world, build self-awareness, and create meaningful change.

I am formally trained in EMDR and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) therapy, and also integrate mindfulness, self-compassion, ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) into my work. As a social worker, I work from an anti-oppressive lens and aim to help clients consider the impact of sociocultural systems - from the gender binary to diet culture and other systemic forces - on their mental health and wellbeing.

My background includes clinical work in school-based settings, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient treatment centers, and outpatient clinics for children and families.
